Audex - Audio Translation AppLast Updated: March 29, 2025Welcome to Audex. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using our service. By accessing or using Audex, you agree to be bound by these Terms.1. Acceptance of TermsBy creating an account, downloading, installing, or using our App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.2. Service DescriptionAudex ("the App") provides audio translation services that convert spoken content from one language to another. The App processes audio files uploaded by users and returns translated transcripts.3. Account RegistrationTo use our services, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.4. Service Plans and Payment4.1 Purchase OptionsWe offer the following service plans:- 10 Minutes Package: Provides 10 minutes of audio translation capability
- 60 Minutes Package: Provides 60 minutes of audio translation capability
- Unlimited Monthly Subscription: Provides unlimited audio translation capability for a single calendar month from the date of purchase4.2 Time Allocation and Usage- For the 10 Minutes and 60 Minutes packages, the duration of each uploaded audio file will be deducted from your total available time allocation.
- Time is calculated based on the actual length of the uploaded audio file to the exact second, not the time required to process it.
- Time deduction is precise and not rounded up (e.g., a 2 minute 15 second file will deduct exactly 2:15 from your available time).
- Unused minutes from time-limited packages automatically roll over and remain valid until used or until your account becomes inactive for 12 consecutive months.4.3 Payment and Billing- All payments are processed securely through our payment providers.
- The 10 Minutes and 60 Minutes packages are one-time purchases valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- The Unlimited Monthly Subscription will automatically renew each month unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Prices are subject to change with notice provided to users at least 30 days in advance.4.4 Refunds- We do not provide refunds for unused time in the 10 Minutes or 60 Minutes packages.
- For the Unlimited Monthly Subscription, no partial refunds will be issued for mid-cycle cancellations.
- If you experience a service outage or technical failure that prevents you from using our service, contact our support team for assistance.5. User Content5.1 Content OwnershipYou retain all rights to the audio content you upload to our App. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process, translate, and temporarily store your content solely for the purpose of providing our translation services.5.2 Content RestrictionsYou agree not to upload content that:- Infringes upon intellectual property rights of any third party
- Contains illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material
- Contains malware, viruses, or any code designed to interfere with our service
- Violates any applicable law or regulation6. Privacy and Data SecurityWe take your privacy seriously. Our collection, use, and processing of your personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.7. Service Limitations7.1 Accuracy- While we strive to provide accurate translations, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy for all languages and audio qualities.
- The quality of translations depends on various factors, including audio clarity, background noise, speaker accent, and technical limitations.7.2 Availability- We aim to maintain 99.9% service availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our App.
- We reserve the right to temporarily suspend access for maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues.8. Intellectual PropertyThe App, including all software, design, graphics, interfaces, and content (excluding User Content), is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works, publicly display or perform, or otherwise exploit the App without our explicit permission.9. TerminationWe reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our App if:- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- You use our service in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
- We are required to do so by law10. Disclaimer of WarrantiesTHE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.11. Limitation of LiabilityTO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP.12. IndemnificationYou agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless our company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App.13. Changes to TermsWe may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on our website or through the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.14. Governing LawThese Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state/country in which our company is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.15.
